Happy Spring!

The sounds of spring fill the air! Bird songs and those frogs! Every year at this time of year I marvel at the sheer volume of the frog calls. In numbers and in how loud. And the duration! They call for a mate for hours and hours and hours! And for weeks on end. Always when it still feels so cold outside that I can't imagine them "comfortable" in their wet gathering places. Where do you like to gather best, during the various seasons or times of year? A cozy chair next to the fireplace with a blanket - current favorite as it has remained chilly here in the PNW just as Punxsutawney Phil predicted. But as the temps warm and days get longer, I do like to spend more time outside in the yard, at the beach, in the woods, or bundled up at a bonfire with friends before the burn ban kicks in. And spring, of course, is a great time to clean up our spaces, both inside and outside. Maybe a deep clean of closets, utility room, garage or shed, or whole house. Time to start cleaning up the brown and encouraging the green things growing in our gardens and yards. I LOVE (way too much) going to the nursery and picking out plants for my pots and to fill in the holes in the garden beds.  Probably my favorite part of spring - although choosing which little plants can be so hard as everything looks like I should take it home!  What about you?
